We review the sources your organization has authorized and identify the decisions worth capturing.

A guided interview explores edge cases: what happened, which alternatives were weighed, and why one was chosen over the others.
Example: “Why wasn't the contractor penalized that month?”

Structure
Signals, rules, and exceptions are organized into knowledge the expert can review.
Example: signal (a logged interruption), rule (excluded from the calculation), exception (repeat offense).

Validate and update
The expert approves the knowledge, the assistant is tested against new cases, and questions and corrections keep it up to date.
Example: the contracts expert signs off, and the assistant is tested on cases from other contracts.
